Dokdo or Takeshima? In the news today in Korea was the ongoing fight over who owns this island, Korea or Japan. Dokdo, which was first called this in 1906, is still an unresolved problem as to who owns it. A lot of experts and other people claim it is Korea's but Japan is still trying to fight this fact. It's located off the east coast of Korea on the East Sea and it's one of the places I have yet to visit in Korea but plan on seeing someday. More to come on this very interesting dispute.
