Can I make it? GO TOGO GO!!

Hopefully I will be able to get the volunteer job as a correspondent for this team, African Nation representative Togo. Above, Adebayor(left), who also plays for Arsenal FC will play a big key to their success at this years World Cup Finals. Here is a possible report from a future game:

Deja Vu for Le Bleus!!
The French team suffered their first loss of the Worldcup in an almost mirror performance of 4 years ago. Then it was the African Nation of Senegal, which surprised and won the hearts of many. This year, Togo ranked 59th by FIFA, went ahead in the 62nd minute on a header by Arsenal's Emmanual Adebayor. After a failed clearance from French defender Jean Alain Boumsong, Adebayor then slid a pass to the left of the 18 yard box to a wide open Junior Senaya. Senaya then turned Chelsea defender William Gallas inside and out before he flicked a perfect cross to the wide open Adebayor. He should have made it 2-0 less than 30 seconds later but was snubbed by the French stopper Fabien Barthez from point blank range. France did not go easily with shots from frontmen Djibril Cisse and Thierry Henry hitting the crossbar and post in the 76th and 82nd minute respectively. But Togo's persistence in midfield from France La Ligue player Maman Cherif-Toure caused all sort of problems for Zenidane Zidane and Claude Makelele. "He is a very two dimensional player, he's a playmaker and a tough challenger on the ball. You don't have much time or space with Maman around," said Zidane.
After the loss Zidane also added, "This could be my last game for France. But we still have to wait and see the result of the Korea-Swiss game. There's still hope for us to go to round 2."
