Although Van Basten dropped Van Nistelrooy for Klaas-Jan Huntalaar and even though he scored for Holland twice and set up 2 goals, you have to still wonder why he dropped him. He's only 29, and he just signed with a great club in Real Madrid. I honestly feel bad for him, he's been a great goalscorer so why not use him for Holland? He can still put goals in the net!
On the other hand, it was nice to see them win a game in such fashion, in Ireland too! Huntalaar scored two and set up the other two so I don't blame him, he's a great asset to the club. I hope they can continue to do so and learn from the mistakes they made in the WorldCup!
