Yesterday was September 11 and Paul and I were talking about where we were 5 years ago during the disaster in New York. I was here, in Korea, actually in Ulsan at the time when a friend of mine, Chigo said he just saw something so surreal on TV. It was the twin towers collapsing but it looked like a movie without all the special effects. It was a terrible event and it happened very far from here but much closer to home. It scared a lot of people from flying and also at the time Paul was in Uzbekistan which was quite close to where the war broke out shortly after. Wow, 5 years already and it's felt like about 2!
Yeah Paul, time flies doesn't it!!!!
Well, I've been running as usual and quite enjoying it, especially the sauna afterwards. I usually do about 5-6km a day so it's a pretty good workout. The only thing that I don't really like about the place is that there's this one guy who always gets a little too close and it's kinda uncomfortable so I have to use my Korean to get out of the situation...and jet outta there as quickly as possible.
Paul asked me the other day what the first thing I'm gonna do when I get back to Canada. I said I want to see my nephews (after Mom and Dad ofcourse) Lukas and Owen. This pic of Owen is over 3 years old so he's a lot more mature now! I'll put on a more recent one after you send me one of both of them Fred.
