Not Afraid to Speak

In one of my beginner classes, I have a student named Tom. He is quite outgoing and he goes to a lot of classes at private Institutes after he's done at his public school. He goes to a Math school, an Art school, a Korean Language school and also goes to our private English Academy. He's been at our school for about 8 months now. Like a lot of the students, he gets the questions 'How are you?' and 'How old are you?' mixed up...Also, a lot of the time, korean students will say "Huh" after a question and then a few seconds later understand what you're trying to ask and say "Ahhh!"....Here are the questions I asked him...

How are you today?

Where do you live?

What's your favorite color?

He said..."I like blue because I like blueberries."

Takes time. Tommy will be speaking fluently before you know.

Not sure if you're American (I doubt it with your football, soccer, referances) but if so, Happy Thanksgiving...a great excuse to eat and eat and eat!!! Cheers,
