What a Great Day!!

Sally

Today was probably the best day I've had at the school in a long time. The kids always come in on Monday full of energy and wanting to tell their stories of what they did on the weekend. Especially Sally. I have been teaching Sally for over 14 months now and she always makes me smile! I just had to steal this pic from Billy's website. Hope you don't mind Billy! Sally always has a story to tell and today she told me of a mountain she went to where she could see North Korea! The details and the way she describes everything is amazing.

Since Billy is in LA now, I've been teaching this class with Sally, Jim, Jisu and Julie(Ju Yeon) for an hour and a half every day. I also teach another one of his classes, and the kids are great. That's his favorite class and I can see why now. Every day I see them, a few of the kids say "David teacher...Bopo!! which means 'kiss'.
Julie

Julie used to live in Delft, Holland so once in a while we talk about the food and some of the places in Holland. She doesn't really know too much about it and said she mostly ate Korean food there. She does remember the Gouda cheese though. Her Korean name is the same as a friend of mine 'Ju Yeon' which makes it easy to remember.

Jisu

Jisu also lived abroad in Belgium. She is the best in the class and she can describe things very well. She also has the most unique laugh!
There is another student, Jim. He's the only boy in the class and he hates to write. You can see him on the video I put on the other day. He's a real character.

Hope you all had a great weekend everybody!
