Oooooh....Jealousy?

I would love to show you some pictures taken over the weekend from Friday until Sunday in Ulsan where Paul and I went on the weekend but....as I was playing around with my camera meaning to protect some photos and delete others it did the opposite! It deleted the photos I took on the weekend instead of the old ones. I guess I shouldn't try to do those kinds of things first thing in the morning.
On Friday evening it snowed quite heavy and I did get some great pictures that will never be seen...only in the memories of my mind.

It was quite a tiring weekend. We ended up taking the bus there at 5 pm on Saturday and then returning at 5 am Monday morning. It really hit me about the 3rd or 4th class yesterday.

A friend of ours Gareth met us when we arrived in Ulsan Saturday around 10 pm. We met a lot of people that we haven't seen in a while. He was a gracious host and let us stay there for the one night.

We then carried on to meet a lot of old friends and acquaintances. We got home late and woke up in time luckily to make it for the wedding at 12 noon. Again, we got to see a lot of old faces. We got to spend some time with Dan and Minjung who got married in February. I also got to see Mike and his wife(don't know her name) and his new daughter who his very adorable. I have to admit that seeing everybody again was fantastic and nostalgic. I also have to admit that I was a little jealous seeing so many beautiful Korean women with their Canadian and American husbands. The guys were saying I'd should be next!!

Troy and Sharon's wedding was a typical Korean wedding, short and sweet with some food and drinks afterwards. It seemed like every teacher who lives in Ulsan were there, some great people and ofcourse the odd flake here or there. You know who I'm talking about. But anyways, great to see everybody again!

On the way back to Seoul, I thought of the move I made back here just over a year ago, one of the many 'original guys' in Ulsan and thought...yes, it was the right decision. The bigger city is for me and being here now makes Ulsan look like a small town. Ulsan has the greatest people in Korea but that doesn't always bring the best opportunities....
