More Football

I talked to my Mom the other night and she asked me if there was a lot of rain. I said it hasn't rained much at all lately....until yesterday when it rained from about 2 am and continued almost all day. It's stopped now but it's still pretty cloudy. It could rain anytime soon again.

I went to another soccer game last night. Lyon (from France) against River Plate (from Argentina). It was a great game to watch! End to End action and so typical of European against South American styles of football. Lyon were tactical and sometimes showed some individual talent but passed well and played good defense. River Plate had some great chances and some of the players are great at controlling the ball but they always seemed to try to carry the ball through the 18 yard box instead of taking a shot. It was very entertaining and I think the player of the game was Karim Benzema. He's just a young player but looks like he could be a future star for the French team.

Tonight, Manchester United will play against Seoul FC. I heard the stadium is sold out and that scalpers are asking for at least $300 a ticket! I'll just watch it on TV though.
