Dennis the Menace!

One of the Greatest Goals Ever!!
If you've never seen Dennis Bergkamp in action, you have missed out on one of the best finishers in 'Voetbal'. (Dutch for Soccer) He is not just one of the best finishers either. His precision passing has set up many goals for other snipers such as Thierry Henry, Patrick Kluivert, Marc Overmars, Ian Wright, and Nicolas Anelka. This goal here, scored against Argentina in the World Cup in 1998 was probably the best ever! His ability to control the ball, turn around a defender and shoot with precision shocked many people around the world with that amazing goal. I still have it on videotape and I'll probably watch it before this years finals again!! Some might say he has scored better though! It's a shame that he will hang up his boots soon, but there's a good chance we could see him in the Champions League Final in Paris. Wouldn't it be great to see some flash from one of the greatest players ever to play for the Netherlands and Arsenal!!!

Oh yeah! For sure that is one of the best goals that I have ever saw. Magic touch, brilliant vision and clinical finish. A combination of brilliance and absolute mastery of that round thing called the football and on one of the world's biggest stages. Too bad he isn't going out with a swan song at Germany '06.
