I've been asked several times, "Do you have anything uncomfortable in Korea"? meaning 'Is there anything that makes you feel uncomfortable in Korea'?
I've never known what to say because it's not the kind of question that you get asked a lot. But today I thought of one.
Once in a while in Korea, there's the odd bathroom that is a little underkept and not cleaned so often and also the ones that have the sign '휴지통 버려주세요' which means 'Please put the toilet paper in the wastebasket'.
So, I think a lot of people still put their used 'hugi' in the waste instead of in the toilet. I've never really checked, but once in a while you can see the wastebasket full of used toilet paper right in front of you.
Anyways, just one of those things you see everyday in Korea.

used and soiled T.P.
yummy...
Probably takes you back to the days in the pollution plant...
One of the things that literally 'bugs the shit out of me'
You would think that someone would tell them that the toilet paper nowdays just breaks up and becomes nothing when it gets wet. I guess some cultures are stuck in the 'urban myth' syndromes still....
