CHANGMA

In Korea, the season we are in is called 'Changma'. For the last couple of weeks it has rained here a lot, with yesterday being the worst! It must have rained ALL day, stopping a few times now and then for a couple of minutes then starting again. After the rain stops, it gets so humid and if there's no circulation of air, you feel it instantly. It's like walking into a big cloud of humidity. But, it's supposed to be finished soon and then we should have a lot more sunny days ahead of us.

I was supposed to go to Ulsan this weekend to visit my friend Tony. Unfortunately, he was given some bad news about his Mom back in Canada and has to fly back tonight! We had a plan to go hiking and then on Sunday go to Haeundae beach in Pusan. I was looking forward to going down to have an active weekend with Tony but because of the circumstances I'll stick around the northern part of South Korea. Who knows who I might run into....
