Moving On

(Left to right: Amy Won, Subin, Isabella, Amy Jung, Me, Roger, Hee Jae, Jake)
About 3 weeks ago, I asked Billy, the guy I work with, to take a picture of this class. It was the last day of the term and some of them stayed together and some joined other classes. This class in particular was one of my favorites. They all seemed to bond so well, have a good laugh while they were studying and seemed to know each other so well. They never really studied that hard so they were a bit of a challenge to teach. But on that day, I wasn't really teaching them. It was more like hanging out with them and wondering where they would be in about 10 years. As the class was coming to a finish, I wanted to ask them what they wanted to be in the future.

Me: So what do you want to be Subin?
Subin: I don't know....oh...Artist!
Me: How about you Roger?
Roger: I don't know.
Me: HeeJae?
HeeJae: I don't know.
Me: Jake?
Jake: Me too.
Me: Isabella?
Isabella: A singer.
Me: Amy Jung?
Amy Jung: A doctor. (she probably will be too!)
Me: Amy Won?
Amy Won: A TV reporter.
Me: You have to smile more then!

Why is it that the girls always know what they want to be?

Hey Dave,
Why is that? Mabye because they are the gatherers and we are the collectors. Ever heard of that philosphical theory before?

Paul.
