I guess I'd have to admit that I'm started to get excited, get things organized and ready to go. I just finished a bunch of comments for all my students and I know now that I will miss a lot of them. They have been part of my life for a while now. I spent today with the classes just talking with the kids, nothing else, no teaching them, and no correcting them. It's amazing, when they aren't corrected on their speaking or stressed about writing stuff, they really open up and talk about everything. That's what some of these kids did today and it was well needed.
Friday will be the same except for a few classes where we'll have the usual weekly tests and then we'll just have a chat, play some games, and get some last pictures with them together. Some of the kids and I will exchange some presents.
I took the day off today from the gym but it's back there again tomorrow including a sauna. I sure hope I can find one of those in Canada when I go back. Then a busy schedule until I leave. Meeting some friends tomorrow night, then Flavio who I used to work with in Ulsan. I'll meet him on Saturday after I move some of the last things out of my place. Then after that, I'll be going to Hollywoods to meet Tom from Wales, Sara from Manchester and hopefully a few of the Liverpool lads who usually go there for the Liverpool games. I'll be giving Paul a call around halftime. Maybe he'll be watching the game at home on the computer.
Then on Sunday I'll be meeting Bill and Connie and Michael for lunch. On Monday evening I'll meet my director, manager, Billy and maybe the new teacher for dinner after they're done work. In between all these meetings and lunches I'll get a little shopping done, maybe even some duty free shopping at one of the department stores. I think Korea is one of the only countries where you can do your duty free shopping before you get to the airport. It's kind of convenient so you don't have to rush around when you arrive, check-in, etc. You just go through customs and pick up your stuff after you go through.
So I might post something before I leave and I might not. If I don't, I'll see some of you very soon, and some of you even sooner.
Sorry Billy, I know, another picture of me...
