모넷

The other day, my brother called me and I also talked to my nephews Lukas and Owen. Lukas is the prized grandson of my Mom and he's also the first grandchild of theirs and the first one to play organized football. I guess he is smiling from start to finish of each game when he plays. Here's a picture of him with a very familiar sponsor on his shirt! He's already scored a couple of goals!

It's approaching the rainy season and it has been getting muggier here. Air Conditioners are on everywhere already and some of the kids are complaining already that it's cold. I'm hot myself. The kids usually come to class in shirts and a T-shirt though so no wonder.

This weekend should be nice and I hope to do a couple of things around Seoul. There's a mountain near here called Namhansangsong and it's an old fortress built on the top of a mountain. It resembles the great wall in China but it's a lot smaller. Also, Monet's paintings are being displayed at the Seoul Museum of Art and I'd like to go see that. I'll have to do it all on Sunday though because I'm still busy for most of Saturday. It's Thursday morning now and I'm really looking forward to the weekend. We're at the beginning of 5 weeks in a row without any days off during the weekdays so every weekend is a blessing. I still enjoy my schedule, as busy as it is though, and most of the people I work with are great.
