3:11 on a Friday

Earlier this week on Tuesday, August 21st, it was 4 months since I quit smoking. The first week or two were the most difficult but after that it seems to have gone by so quickly. Great accomplishment if I may say so myself!

This week is also the end of doing morning classes (for kids). It's great although the kids were nice. They sure are different in the morning, sleepyheadish and slowpokish! As you can see(below) , I don't have very many students to teach so it's pretty casual. Lately I've been spending a lot of time (well, not that much) making daily lesson plans, monthly plans etc. Pretty easy stuff once you get going but it just takes a bit of time..

This weekend has already started for me although I have my regular Saturday classes. I've kept them because the kids are really great there, well disciplined but also like to have a good laugh. It's close to the center of Seoul and even though the kids have to go there on a Saturday, they have a really good attitude about it. I'm going swimming later today as well. There's a great pool in Yatap with a 50m and a 25m pool. I've been going every Friday and try to swim at least 750m. That's about 30 lengths in the 25m pool. At least in the 25m pool you can catch your breath after a length. Tonight I'm aiming for 1000m in the 50m pool, 20 lengths! I'm getting tired just thinking about it! I'll probably get bumped into about 50 times but I should be used to it by now!
