Another thing I've been trying is the 'roll off the back' approach. No matter what happens or how rude someone might be to you, just take a second or two, let the anger roll off your back and then smile. It makes a better story later when you tell your friends and have a good laugh about it rather than getting angry. It's easier said than done but I've been doing well so far this week. I've also ran 10km a couple of times. I have to admit that I didn't run nonstop for the whole time. However, I did run nonstop for 6km and then walked a few times after that and I did it in 63 minutes on Monday and then 59 today. Since I don't have to get up at 6 am I have a few more hours of sleep everyday which really helps!
Above is a picture of a couple of my former students. We've had some great conversations together. J.J. and Jack both lived in Australia and I've heard some great homestay stories from them. We'll be meeting on Saturday for dinner and drinks.
