Memories of Siam 10.15

A few more pics in Thailand with this one overlooking the Floating Market. There are many of them in Thailand. This one was about 60 km from Bangkok.



Bangkok was formerly known as Siam and it is still under rule of a King. Once in a while, maybe every day, they will play the National Anthem. They do this where large groups of people gather, at concerts or at parks. People stand up and listen to Thailands National Anthem.



Thai literally means 'free' so they are 'free people of the land.'



We stopped at a temple on the way to the market. And then at a restaurant by the river.
