From A burned House to Palm Trees

These might be the last of some pics I'll post from Taiwan. During one of our walks through the city and backstreets, Paul and I noticed this one house that seemed to have burned but not quite to the ground. I guess it's still standing so it's ok. I wonder if that sign was put up before or after it happened....

One of the cool things about the streets is that they aren't too busy and people don't drive too fast in Taiwan. There's only a couple of lanes and in between traffic coming the other way is a nice row of Palm trees to keep everything shady. The streets are quiet in between the roundabouts and it kind of reminds me of some parts of Europe. If you're wondering what kind of car this is in the picture above, it's a Ferrari. It looks better in person and when I'm driving it!
